Q: How often will I receive tender notifications?

A: Tenders are downloaded into the system on a daily basis. Our computer system compares your profile with the newly added notifications very early each morning. If a match is found, our system stores it in a file for you. Once our system has completed a search against all new notifications, it transmits your file to you. You should receive your notifications from PODS before 9:00 am.

Q: How do I receive my notifications from PODS and which method is best for me?

A: There are two ways in which you can receive tender notifications from PODS:

    1. E-mail Delivery

    2. Fax Delivery

The method of delivery will depend upon your computer/office capabilities. If you have access to e-mail, we recommend that you choose that method of delivery. It does not tie up your office equipment or consume supplies and, if you wish, you can print only the opportunities you are interested in pursuing.

If you do not have access to e-mail in your office, you can have your notifications sent via facsimile. You should receive your notifications before your office opens for business so remember to check your fax machine for sufficient paper prior to leaving each evening. Please note - there is an extra charge for facsimile delivery of notifications. See the Pricing Information section.

Q: What if the person who has access to our username and password leaves our company?

A: Upon setup of your account, we will issue your company a username and password. If there is any reason why you wish to change your username and password, it is only a matter of contacting our office and a PODS representative will be happy to change your codes for you immediately - no charge!

Q: How will I know when my account expires and is my company automatically billed for another year?

A: A PODS representative keeps track of all accounts and registration dates for companies.  When your account is close to your expiration date, a representative will contact your office and ask if you wish to renew, prior to issuing an invoice. We will only issue an invoice upon your approval.

Q: I wish to try the Two-Week Trial - who should I call?

A: If you are calling locally, our phone number is 745-3550. We also have a toll-free number available for non-local clients (1-888-899-7637). If you have any comments or questions regarding PODS, please contact us immediately.

Q: How often are my tender notifications advertised on PODS?

A: Tender notifications are downloaded into the PODS system on a daily basis and are forwarded to suppliers immediately. The tender notification is then listed on your agency page. It will remain there until closing of your tender notification. Once your tender notification comes within two weeks of closing, the closing date automatically becomes bold. This is done so that your notice will stand out on the web site to alert suppliers that the closing date is approaching.

Q: How do suppliers receive our tender notifications?

A: There are two ways in which PODS can deliver tender notifications:

    1. E-mail Delivery

    2. Fax Delivery

The method of delivery will depend upon the company's computer/office capabilities. If they have access to e-mail, we recommend to them that they choose that method of delivery. It does not tie up their office equipment or consume supplies and, if they wish, they can print only the opportunities they are interested in pursuing.

If they do not have access to e-mail in their office, PODS will send their notifications via facsimile.

Q: How do we get our tender notification information posted on the PODS web site?

A: That's the easy part. All you have to do is e-mail or fax to PODS a copy of your tender notification. A PODS representative will enter the information as per your request - keeping in mind the importance of the confidentiality of your information.  If you currently list tender notifications on your own web site and wish to expand your viewing audience, we can download the tendering information right from your web page into our system. We require prior permission from you to do so.

Q: Can we advertise exclusively on PODS.

A: Yes. If you wish to advertise your tender notifications exclusively with PODS contact our office and we will have a PODS representative contact you. Eliminate all advertising costs with one phone call.

Q: Are you sure it is free?

A: Yes. No strings attached we will advertise your tender notifications free of charge.
